Clayton Cole serves SES Lighting as Founding Owner and CEO.
Clayton graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, and returned to his hometown of Monroe, Louisiana, to enter business.
He was destined for the golf business and began working for his father, PGA Professional W.E. Cole, and developed his game. In 1969 he played on the PGA tour.
In 1970, Clayton began his career in the golf industry. This included holding positions as an Assistant Professional at Cherry Hills Country Club, Head Professional at Dallas Country Club, Vice President of Operations and PGA Director of Golf at the Lakeway Company in Austin, Texas, and PGA Head Professional at Cherry Hills Country Club until his brief retirement in 2008.
Clayton has enjoyed putting together a team of reliable, honest, and dedicated professionals committed to providing energy savings to the firm’s clients.
Nelson A. Scott, CCM, serves SES Lighting as Founding Owner and COO.
Utilizing his educational background and financial experience running multi-million dollar corporations, Nelson educated himself in energy management, working with professional engineers modeling solution savings for commercial buildings. Nelson manages all operations, product lines, and deliverables for SES Lighting. He is also Chief Analyst for the company.
Nelson graduated from the University of Denver with a BSBA in business management. Nelson is an Adjunct Professor at Johnson & Wales University in Denver, Colorado, teaching students about large scale commercial hospitality operations and sustainability programs.
James McKinney serves SES Lighting as Owner and President.
A 25-year veteran of the banking industry, James started his financial career in Houston, Texas, after earning a BA in Economics from the University of Colorado – Boulder.
A Denver native, James returned in 1994. James has proven to be a trusted advisor, helping clients evaluate their financial needs. His experience in analyzing the financial condition of companies translates into his passion for energy efficiency and maximizing energy cost savings and improving company bottom line profits.
Over the years, James has been involved with several local charities and community organizations including the Denver Botanic Gardens, DIA Business Partnership, Boy Scouts of America, Mesa View Estates HOA Board of Directors, and Golden Junior Basketball.
James and his wife Nicolle have three active children. They reside in Golden, Colorado.
Ron is an innovative, aggressive Senior Executive with 11,000 connections exhibiting a proven track record with over 35 years of leadership experience plus a confirmed record of success in establishing a long term sales and operations strategy that is responsible for achieving corporate goals that parallel sales growth and profitability. With a record of being a hands-on manager, he has always been involved in every level of corporate management that directly results in cost savings measures across all fronts of manufacturing, operations, sales and marketing in addition to all internal components of his companies.
His proven track record and established professional relationships within the lighting and electrical community proceed him, and he is an invaluable addition to the SES Lighting Team.
Darin Dickson serves SES Lighting as Director of Marketing and Communications.
Darin is a graduate of Colorado State University, holding a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design and Visual Communications. Darin brings over 25 years of experience spanning advertising and marketing firms, television, publishing, and the private club industry. Darin has held positions including Senior Graphic Designer, Senior Art Director, and Creative Director.
For eight years before joining the SES Lighting team, Darin was Director of Marketing and Communications at Columbine Country Club.
John G Brewster (Grady) currently serves SES Lighting as the Vice President of Sales.
Grady is a graduate of the University of Colorado, Boulder and holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration.
Grady joins our team after 25 years in the corporate business arena. He brings an extensive knowledge of financial consulting, sales and customer service to our team. His background includes sales training, relationship building, financial training and consulting. Grady specializes in applying his expertise and market knowledge to expand our growing client base.
Grady has been trained and inspired in sales by some of the best including Dale Carnegie, Tom Hopkins, Jim Rohn and others. He uses his experience and foresight to proactively address opportunities and ensure customer satisfaction.
